Here is a template you can use to help you complete your slides for the in-person DPI Final Showcase.

Pre-institute resources

Downloads and Installations

Please download the following applications in advance of the start of the DPI. If you need help with these installations, please contact DPI Project Manager Chelsea Lane.

Visual Studio (VS) Code

Visit the Visual Code Website and download the appropriate package for your operating system (macOS, Windows, or Linux). If you need help, refer to the step-by-step instructions here.

Google Chrome

Download the correct version of Google Chrome for your operating system. You can consult the Google Chrome support page if you need further assistance.

GitHub Account

In advance of the Git, GitHub, and GitHub Pages, please create a GitHub account (feel free to skip the personalization survey questions).

Eduroam

Download Eduroam to securely and efficiently access WiFi at The Graduate Center, CUNY.

“CUNY students, faculty and staff can configure an eduroam wireless network connection on their devices to access the internet through an eduroam Wi-Fi hotspot at CUNY or anywhere else in the world. Visitors from other institutions participating in eduroam can access the internet through CUNY eduroam Wi-Fi hotspots as well.” β€”cuny.edu

COVID-19 Regulations

You will need to show your Cleard4 Pass (proof of COVID-19) to access the GC.

Masking is encouraged, but not required; we ask you to please follow all guidelines on the GC page: https://www.gc.cuny.edu/news/covid-19-information-and-safety-guidance 

As per CUNY regulations, β€œat this time, CUNY does not require face masks. Anyone who would like to continue wearing masks in any settings is welcome to do so at any time. Masks are available on campuses. At the Graduate Center you can request a mask at the front desk and at the main desk in the library (first floor). Faculty, staff, and students who are unvaccinated are urged to wear a mask at all times.”
